LEAVES FROM THE LOST BOOK (1987)

Inspired by the first book of the fantasy trilogies 'Duncton Wood', by William Horwood, this work was commissioned for the BBC Welsh Symphony Orchestra by St David's Hall chief executive Tony Woodcock on behalf of the 1997 Cardiff Proms. It was conducted with great panache by Owain Arwel Hughes as part of a concert with the overall title 'summer romance'.
