QUATRE CANTILENES (set 1) for cello and piano (1996-7)
Four melodic and quite melancholic pieces, the third marked 'hommage a Gabriel Faure, written in spare moments at Llanwrtyd Wells in Wales whilst writing the accordion quintet. But despite the spare moments, these pieces are profound and deeply felt.
