THREE PIECES FROM THE MOVIES:


ELEGAIC FANTASIA (for solo violin) using the theme Lente from Schindler's List by John Williams
BADINESQUE (for cello solo) on themes by Marin Marais featured in Tous les matins du monde
MY HEART WILL GO ON (2000)(theme from Titanic by James Horner)
The first two pieces were commissioned by Roy Goodman for the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra and performed by them in October 2003 with Paul Marleyn (cello) and Karl Stobbe (violin).
The Titanic piece was written at the request of the Nieuw Sinfonietta Amsterdam for a CD celebrating the Sail 2000 Festival in Amsterdam, also conducted by Roy Goodman.
Orchestration is string orchestra with oboe, horn, harp and percussion,
